Digital Radiology in the Ozarks

In March of this year American Mobile Radiology, LLC unveiled their new medical imaging company which is the first of its kind in the Ozarks.

American MobileRadiology is now offering digital quality x-rays to nursing homes, doctor’s clinics, hospices and home-bound patients.  “Innovative medicine will increase quality and access while at the same time decrease costs” states manager, Eric Rogers MEd.RT(R) of Nixa.

The technology for digital imaging has been around since the 1990’s but remained exclusive to large hospitals such as CoxHealth, St. John’s and Skaggs.  “We felt it was time for nursing home residents to enjoy the same quality of care as everyone else.  This is paramount given the disparaging rate at which the Greatest Generation is entrusted to professional healthcare.”

Why Digital ?

American Mobile Radiology has the ability to produce high-quality, diagnostic images within minutes after an exam.

This new technology eliminates old fashioned silver emulsion films that required chemical processing at an offsite facility.  In addition to the improved quality and speed, digital radiology is a green alternative to the harsh chemicals used in film development.

“Superior digital imaging is my idea of Healthcare Reform!  We hope to change the standard of care in the Ozarks”, notes Rogers.
